CooHood is in a private, non-commercial validation phase. Responsible operator:

Commercial register and UID

There is currently no registered company and no commercial UID. CooHood is operated as an individual pilot project during the testing phase and pursues no commercial purpose.

The CooHood app and the coohood.ch website are operated by the same responsible person.

Liability for our own content

We produce the content of the app and the website with care, but cannot warrant that it is accurate, complete, or up to date. Descriptions of features reflect the current state of the pilot phase and may change at any time.

Liability for user content

Posts, messages, offers, and images in the app come from users. We do not adopt this content as our own. We review reported content and remove it where it breaches our terms of use or applicable law.

Liability for links

Links to third-party websites are outside our control. The respective provider is solely responsible for their content.

Copyright

Text, images, logos, and the design of the app and the website are protected by copyright. Any use beyond the statutory limits requires our prior written consent. Partner logos belong to their respective owners.

Area & Official – disclaimer

The data displayed in the “Area & Official” tab is sourced from the official Open Government Data (OGD) interfaces of the City of Zurich. Although CooHood regularly synchronises these feeds, we accept no warranty whatsoever for the absolute accuracy, completeness, or up-to-date precision of municipal waste collection and event schedules. Please also always refer to official ERZ notices on site. Source: Stadt Zürich Open Government Data (OGD).

For address search, maps, and neighbourhood information we draw on the following sources. We give no warranty as to their accuracy or availability:

• Swiss Federal Office of Topography swisstopo and the Federal Register of Buildings and Dwellings (api3.geo.admin.ch)
• opendata.swiss and the Open Government Data portals of individual municipalities
• OpenStreetMap contributors, queried via Overpass (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL)
• Map rendering via Google Maps (Android) or Apple Maps (iOS)
