For municipalities, cities, organisations and public institutions
More neighbourhood for municipalities and organisations.
CooHood connects people in their immediate surroundings so they can pass on food and usable items, offer help and volunteer. The platform is already available and operated by us. Municipalities, public institutions and organisations can help residents discover CooHood without developing or technically running a platform of their own.

Already available
CooHood is not a loose idea. It is a platform people can already use in everyday neighbourhood life.
No IT project of your own
Technical development and operation sit with CooHood. A municipality does not need to build another system – without its own IT project and without ongoing technical operation by the municipality.
Enable local impact
Neighbourly help, passing on food and items, and volunteering become easier to reach.
CooHood complements existing offers.
The platform is not meant to replace personal encounters, local associations, social services or established digital solutions. CooHood adds a low-threshold way into everyday life in the immediate neighbourhood.
You decide how to take part.
From simply sharing information to a local partnership: organisations choose the path that fits their capacity and goals.

Frequently asked questions
Does CooHood replace existing municipal offers?
No. CooHood is intended as a complement: an extra, low-threshold way into everyday neighbourhood life – not a replacement for existing offers or systems.
Does a municipality have to operate the platform technically?
No. Technical development and operation sit with CooHood. A municipality does not need to build its own IT project or take on ongoing technical operation. On-site moderation or legal responsibility is something we discuss in each concrete case.
How can an organisation start?
Three paths: make CooHood known, explore a time-limited local pilot, or look into cooperation as an organisation.
Is the first contact binding?
No. The first conversation and the joint assessment are non-binding.
How does CooHood handle data protection?
The app has no analytics or advertising SDKs. Address confirmation uses a one-time GPS check. Content and files are processed in Switzerland. On the website we load analytics only after explicit consent.
